Greetings fello collectors. New to the site, collecting for 18 years & now on my 4th collection.
It struck me very odd that Alan Hall never produced a reproduction of the Space
Explorer set. Indeed it would have been a near impossibility for him to find the original
box to be lasered & copied, but I do believe he didnt have the Judo set box but still
managed to pull that one off.
As a collector I thought it would be a good idea to try & get the Space Explorer
Helmet reproduced. Back around 93/94 I made a handful of these for fellow collectors
& they turned out very successful. This year I commissioned a batch of ten to be made
& although they took months to come through the results were astonishing. I still have
a couple of these available & if interest is sufficient i'll be commissioning another ten.
Dont get me wrong...I dont do these for profit...& what little I make goes back into my
collection or gets put back for other replica/repro projects. I have a few ideas, things
that Alan Hall failed to do! If you would like to check out the Space Explorer Helmets

Hi, I will be at the Cheshunt meet next week...taking all my stuff to clear out. I'm afraid I wasn't a mintaholic collector but there is still some really nice stuff going to be available. I find photographing and describing over the net a laborious chore...so if you are in the area...everything needs to go.
